Research Assistant

Chapman University, Office of Prospect Research

  • Performed RFM analyses in R to create quintiles that rank donors based on their history
  • Executed Sentiment Analysis on comments left by donors determine likelihood of further donations
  • Developed a donor engagement score to determine proximity and propensity for high level donors
  • Used the Google Cloud API and K Means clustering to create an interactive map of donor locations
  • Cleaned current donor portfolio by eliminating 28% of donors with low RFM score
  • Compiled info from databases, Lexis-Nexis, Wealth Engine and IWave, into Excel

  • Assist medical only and indemnity adjusters in all phases of claims management
  • Document legal, medical, and clerical information from clients, vendors, and medical institutions
  • Complete three points of contact for new claims including the employee, employer, and hospital
  • Create SPOAs (Strategic Plan of Action) for claims to detail all key actions leading up to closure
  • Identified and resolved potential billing errors with medical and legal service providers

  • Researched potential acquisition candidates for a list of private equity group clients
  • Worked closely with Analysts and Directors by supporting all aspects of deal generation efforts
  • Utilized online databases like Capital IQ, Hoovers, and Lexis-Nexis in research process
  • Contacted small business owners to present the acquisition criteria and collect information for clients
